Gateway is a science fiction novel by American writer Frederik Pohl. It is the opening novel in the Heechee saga, with four sequels that followed (five books overall). Gateway won the Hugo Award for Best Novel, [4] the Locus Award for Best Novel, [4] the Nebula Award for Best Novel, [5] and the John W. Campbell Memorial Award for Best Science Fiction Novel. [4].
