Djinn: An Extreme Horror Novel If you're into that, this book is for you. Sam West does some truly awful stuff to his characters. I've read 'Extreme' novels from other authors and this certain tops all the rest. I'm not sure I'd read another 'Extreme' novel of Mr. West, but I'd read a normal novel for sure. Sam clearly wanted to demonstrate from the first chapter that the protagonist is capable of anything, and as he then builds up the story around the main characters you know you are in for an unpleasant ride.
